01RULES
Who does what, and how far?
Every task has an owner and a limit; the shift changes, the rule doesn't. These six points are what everyone who joins learns on day one.
Double Check
Receiving, dispatch and stock counts are never closed without a second person's signature.
Standard Process
A pallet is received the same way today as it will be three months from now.
On Record
A movement that isn't scanned on the handheld terminal is treated as if it never happened.
Immediate Reporting
A discrepancy, damage or mismatch is written up and reported on the shift it is found; it never waits until tomorrow.
Regular Drills
Fire and evacuation drills run on a schedule; the team never hears the alarm for the first time in a real event.
02TEAM
Rules alone aren't enough.
What keeps a warehouse in order is not the rules but people who believe in them. Here mistakes are talked about, not hidden; a shift ends when the work is done; a newcomer is never left alone on the first day.
We speak up
A problem raised early is a cheap problem; everyone knows it, and nobody hides what they have noticed.
The shift ends with the team
The day doesn't end until the work does; handover is face to face and in writing.
Ownership
Everyone who keeps an aisle in order owns that aisle.

Briefing
Vehicles due, critical lots, open issues and a safety reminder: in a few minutes everyone is on the same page.
Task allocation
Who works which area with which equipment; no task is left undefined.
The floor
Receiving, put-away and dispatch run with terminal verification; critical work gets a second signature.
End of day
Work done and open issues are written down; the next shift starts knowing exactly where it takes over.
