Every product has its own rules.

Plastic raw materials hate moisture and dirt; paper reels hate knocks and dents. The same rack and the same forklift don't suit both, so each has its own zone, its own equipment and its own checklist.

Plastic Raw Material Storage

Big bags, 25 kg sacks and octabins. Stored dry and clean, every lot at its own rack location; temperature and humidity measured by sensor, receipt and dispatch scanned on the handheld terminal.

Paper Reel Storage

Moved with a clamp-attachment forklift and stacked with the surface and edges protected; humidity is monitored and the condition of each reel is recorded at receipt and dispatch.

02PROCESS

Gate to rack, rack to dispatch: six steps.

Whatever the product, the load goes through the same six steps; what changes is the product rule applied at each one.

STEP 01

Pre-Notification

Vehicle and load details arrive; a time slot is booked.

STEP 02

Goods Receipt

Plate and seal checked at the gate, paperwork checked against the load at the dock; two signatures.

STEP 03

Customs Entry

The warehouse declaration is registered; from that moment the goods are in stock.

STEP 04

Put-Away by Location

The system assigns the rack location; the operator scans it on the terminal.

STEP 05

In-Stock Monitoring

Stock counts, temperature and humidity readings and CCTV; any discrepancy is looked into on the same shift.

STEP 06

Dispatch

The lot named in the instruction is loaded, the dispatch record is signed, the gate log is closed.
