01THE PRODUCT
What are plastic raw materials sensitive to?
Granules that pick up moisture mean surface defects in injection moulding; granules that pick up dirt mean a scrapped batch. How the raw material is kept until it reaches the machine decides the quality of the part that comes out.
Form matters too: 25 kg sacks arrive palletised and stretch-wrapped, big bags are lifted by their loops, octabins stay within their own stacking limit. The wrong attachment or one layer too many tears the packaging.
If different lots of the same product get mixed, the source of a later problem can never be traced. That is why every lot has its own rack location and every movement is scanned on the handheld terminal.

Clean zone
No contaminating loads enter the raw-material zone; floor and equipment cleaning runs on a schedule.
One lot, one location
A single lot per location. Picking order is first in, first out or by expiry date, as you prefer.
Stacking by form
Separate stacking heights for big bags, sacks and octabins; the manufacturer's limit is never exceeded.
Barcode scanning
Handheld terminal at receipt and dispatch; a movement that isn't scanned can't be closed in the system.
Regular counts
Periodic stock counts and reconciliation; a discrepancy isn't closed until its cause is found.

Frequently asked
How many big bags high do you stack?
There is no single number: the stacking height depends on the manufacturer's handling and stacking limit, the type of bag and the filled weight. Each product type has a written limit on the floor, and it is never exceeded.
How do you keep lots apart?
Every lot sits at its own rack location; the system won't allow a different lot to be put into the same location. Because receipt and dispatch are scanned on the handheld terminal, it is always clear which lot came in and went out, and when.
How is humidity controlled?
An enclosed area, sensor-based temperature and humidity measurement and door discipline work together: dock doors aren't left open needlessly, readings are stored, and any deviation is dealt with on the same shift.
Can we hold raw material under bonded storage?
Yes. With Type A general bonded warehouse status, your goods can be held under customs legislation without entering free circulation; you release the quantity you need, when you need it.
